DISH
Network is pleased to announce a new DISH Network HD programming
package! The package will be available September 16, 2003, for $9.99 per month
or $109.89 annually and includes HDNet, HDNet Movies, Discovery Theater HD and
ESPN HD. These channels will be located at the 110° orbital location and will
require a DISH 500.
Existing HD Programming: DISH is currently offering HD programming channels such as HBO HD, Showtime HD, HD PPV, HD Demo Channel, HD Event Channel, CBS HD East/West** and Discovery HD Theater.
**Due to limitations imposed by CBS those CBS HD Feeds are ONLY available in certain CBS owned & operated station areas (Chico-Redding is NOT such an area - the CBS feeds are not available in this area). And the CBS HD Feeds reside on the 61.5 and 148 degree satellite locations (not available on DISH500).
Discovery HD Theater: Remind customers currently subscribing to Discovery HD Theater for $7.99 per month to call and upgrade to the new DISH Network HD programming package. Not only will they continue to receive Discovery HD Theater, but for only two dollars more per month they will get three additional HD channels.
In general a DISH500 is required to receive most HD broadcasts, and requires one of the following receiver models: 811; 921; 6000u; other dish configurations may be required for certain situations, see DISH Network for details.
